Company C, 1-185th Aviation is a unit of the Mississippi Army National Guard. The unit is located in Tupelo, Ms. The parent unit is the 1st Battalion, 185th Aviation, also located in Tupelo.
Company C, 1-185th Avn (C/1-185th Avn) is the reserve component unit flying the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopter.

This is the U.S. Army's newest and most advanced helicopter. It's mission is armed reconnaissance. The aircraft is a product of Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. The U.S. Army currently has bought 380 of these helicopters. The OH-58D has the ability to fire Hellfire missiles, air-to-air Stinger missiles, Hydra 70 rockets, and a .50-cal machine gun. Equipped with infrared sensors, TV, a laser designator, and various automatic targeting systems, the OH-58D is the U.S. Army's most sophisticated scout/attack aircraft.
