Don't we look great? This photo was made on our cruise to the Bahamas in October '97.

Kathy has a great new B&W photo, too!
**** I hope you find this more home than page!! ****

Important Stuff ---

The Thousandth Man

Click here to read the poem which is my most favorite. It became very special to me when I was in the 7th grade and had a close friend, Bob Crigler. I searched and searched for this poem over the years; one of my students at Miss. State found it and brought it to me. One reason I was unable to find it is because I had remembered its name as "The Thousandth Friend." I hope you find it meaningful and it makes you think of that one, special person in your life.

NCTP GIF is loading...
The NCTP web site has won 2 "Best of the Web" awards.
It has some GREAT stuff for you!!
NCTP
NCTP, the National Center for Technology Planning is an international clearinghouse for technology planning documents, planning aids, essays, etc.

Graduate Students' Work...Technology Planning
National Technology Plan Summaries
Graduate students in my "Seminar in Planning for Instructional Technology" class have been working very hard each semester to create materials that are very helpful to technologists around the world. If you would like to glance at their work...very much an "in-progress" project, click here.
One of the highlights of the students' work is the Guidebook for Developing an Effective Instructional Technology Plan, Version 2.0. This is an Adobe Acrobat file for downloading.

My trip to British Columbia!!
I was invited as a keynote speaker to the Technology Planning Institute, held at the Silver Star Mountain Ski Resort near Vernon, BC, October 21-25, 1995. This was a terrific conference. Click to see some photos or my keynote address--in Adobe Acrobat format.

I have compiled a collection of very interesting school sites that I encourage you to view.
